No Gift Is Too Small

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

santawhomeless.jpgHello again! I just want to let you know that I was thrilled when I logged onto the Sunny 105.9 website today to write in my blog to see that they have an incredible community service movement going on right now that they have called No Gift Is Too Small.

Even though I mainly work to fulfill the needs of children at Christmas time, many of whom are homeless, there are many adults who are also greatly in need and the community service organizations featured in the No Gift Is Too Small program are all valuable groups serving the community the whole year round.

Please join me in making a contribution to one of these organizations. Whatever you’re able to provide. Remember…no gift is too small!

Busy Weekend!

Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

Hello boys and girls in Sunnyland! I just have to tell you, we’ve had a VERY busy weekend up here at the North Pole. I know the 25th of December is over a month away, but you would not believe how many of you have been exceptionally good this year and will be expecting a visit from us.

Nibble-nob, my chief elf this year, is doing a GREAT job of keeping things on track and making sure that we remain on schedule.

All of my elfs and myself and Mrs. Claus got a big kick out of going to the Orlando Radio Holidays site and seeing that we were there as well. We love the publicity. We also enjoyed watching “wanna-be” elf Bobby Smith (he’s not my favorite, in fact he’s not even a real elf) donning the elfen apparel and “disco-ing down.” Mrs. Claus just wanted to pinch his rosy little cheeks.

We’ve been pulling out our favorite holiday DVDs while we work and will share them with you as we continue to blog for you up until Christmas. One of our all-time favorites is the Pee-Wee Herman Special. Take a look below and remember….watch your Ps and Qs and you’ll surely get a visit from me!

Greetings From The North Pole!

santa300.jpgHello boys and girls! Santa Claus here. I can’t tell you how excited I am that Sunny 105.9 in Orlando, Florida has asked me to write a little something from time to time on their festive website!

I’m also thrilled that they are playing non-stop holiday favorites throughout the season. I DO love Orlando’s Greatest Hits, but for personal reasons, Orlando’s Greatest HOLIDAY Hits are my all-time favorites.

Here are just a few of my favorites I’ve heard since I’ve been listening on Mrs. Claus’ computer:

Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses (Although it reminds me of all the work we have to do still!)

Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt (I remember her when she was just a girl)

And Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by little Brenda Lee

I’ll be checking in with you when I get a break, but we’re very busy at the North Pole this time of the year.

And make sure you leave a comment below. Give me your wish list or just say hi! I’d love to hear from all of the boys and girls in the Orlando area. I’m even thinking about making a trip to sunny Florida as soon as the holiday season winds down.

Ho…ho…ho! Remember….I’m making a list and checking it twice….so make sure you’re not naughty and awfully nice!

Love,

Santa
